Penn Faulkner Rainford
About
Penn is a Research Associate with the Non-Standard Computation Group, Department of Computer Science, University of York. Currently attached to the EPSRC funded TORC project. Penn recieved their PhD for "Algebraic Approaches to Artificial Chemistries" from Department of Chemistry, University of York in 2019. Since then Penn has continued to work on interdisciplinary project requiring genetic algorithms and abstract modelling in fields spanning from health care to emergent software systems. They have worked at universities across the North of England in various departments including a teaching post as well as four different research associate roles.
